These children are becoming more and more verbal and with that comes better reasoning, but their reasoning still isn't quite sound, yet and so they keep us laughing everyday with the things they come up with!
One day we were eating celery as part of dinner and I asked Brigham if he wanted it with peanut buetter or cream cheese. He said, "No, I don't like celery today. I only like celery on Wednesdays. Is today Wednesday?" (Lucky for him it wasn't.)
We always help the children brush their teeth before bed. Timothy asked Bekah if she wanted him to help her or me. She said to him, "You can't help me brush my teeth, you're a boy!"
Back a few months ago we were looking at a birthday card for Marc and I told them it said Happy Birthday to Marc. Brigham said, "No that not say Happy Birthday to Marc, that say Happy Birthday to cake!"
Bekah was watching Daddy work out side and she said, "What we can do with that Daddy? He's outside. He's silly. He need to do homework." (I guess Daddy does a little too much homework if she thinks he always needs to be studying.)
We've been having discussions lately about how Timothy isn't my Daddy he's the children's Daddy. And my Daddy is Grandpa Dave and my Mommy is Grandma M_. Daddy's Daddy is Grandpa F_. I asked Brigham, "Who is Daddy's Mama?" Brigham replies, "Brigham Young!" (Gram-Gram don't be offended- he was being silly. On other occasions he says, "Gram-Gram".)
One day we were talking about the temple and Brigham pipes up and says, "There was agave nectar at the temple!" (Maybe I've indoctrinated my children with healthy sugar and refined grain replacements a little too much.)
These children sure keep us going with their humor!
So funny! I miss you guys tons!
