Playing in the mud part 2

We've sure had a lot of mud this spring and this time the children really got "into it!" They started out just jumping in it, but then they got out the buckets...
I put Marc and Hyrum down for naps in the middle of the mud play so they didn't get as dirty.
Brigham and Rebekah and one of their friends were soaked and covered with gunk!
I had to run them through the shower and wash their hair and I still didn't get all of the muck out. But, they sure had a good time.

Annual Spring Ritual...Playing in the mud

How muddy can four toddlers get?

Not bad...

His pants looked worse than his face...

Okay, that's more like it, Marc!

But, Hyrum takes the cake, snotty nose and all.

Playing in the Mud

It has been raining a lot here these past few weeks and there has formed a large puddle in our back yard. I decided to let the children play in it as long as they had clothes on that I wasn't worried about getting stained. They splashed and played for about 10-15 minutes. Then, I had them come in because they were starting to shiver. They both were completely soaked! They had fun, but they sure got cold!
We put them in the bath after words. They both screamed, but when we got them dry and into their warm Pajamas they cheered up again. They haven't asked to play in the water since.
