Sometime in the middle of they day, Hyrum decided to get in a fight with a rock. I think he must have decided to body slam it from the trampoline, but the prospect proved less-effective, and instead the rock gave him a good pop in the face that scratched up his glasses and ballooned his eye. When he first came in the house, it looked normal, but he was kind of in shock, and it didn't take long before he was crying like crazy. In only took a few minutes before we could see that his eye needed help.

After ice, rest, lunch, and a birthday party (we made him take it easy at the party), Hyrum was doing a lot better, but his eye just kept darkening until it was a nice deep shade of purple all across the top. The swelling also went down.

With a little more time, the purple spread around the bottom of his eye. Hyrum's back to acting normal and thinks his purple eye is pretty funny (it still hurts, though).
